The negative things about diesel are that in twenty-four days, forty percent of diesel spilled into the ocean will degrade, while biodiesel will degrade ninety-five in twenty-four days.  Biodiesel is also harder to burn than Diesel.  Biodiesel has a flashpoint of two-hundred sixty degrees Fahrenheit, while diesel has a flashpoint of one-hundred twenty-five degrees Fahrenheit.  When using biodiesel, there is also a big decrease in odor and a different smell. This newly-produced scent has been compared to that of French fries.  In conclusion, biodiesel has been proven to be more-fuel efficient, better for the environment, and best of all, is a growing industry, so you'll see more cars running on soy oil before long.
